Give The Father No Rest

I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, And give Him no rest till He establishes And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
— Isaiah 62:6-8 NKJV

The Scriptures are indeed about a MAN, and this MAN is the only begotten SON of the Father. Within this Son resides a multitude of sons who are connected to the Father through the Son. They understand their identity, have embraced a nature beyond what they once possessed, and live in direct union with the Father. They are not swayed by a so called “religious effort” to get mankind into heaven. Rather, the crux of their heartbeat is to reveal the Father to mankind. It would be disheartening to never present Him in the fullness of who He is. Our Father is all TRUTH and is the fullness of a LOVE so great and deep and infinite that we can understand its magnitude only gradually, as we grow in Him day by day.

These watchmen are sons who keep a close eye on everything that enters or leaves. History provides us with many great lessons and examples about watchmen, and especially the importance of their acute, alert vision. Watchmen guarded their cities against danger, and for this purpose were stationed at the highest points on the walls to afford them an unobstructed view for the farthest possible distance. In today’s order, watchmen are those who have encountered the Father. They have been impacted by the Father and now serve to ensure that the Father’s glory continues to spread like wildfire. Maintaining daily communication with the Father, they stand as His representatives to mankind.

The Father does not forget. He neither slumbers nor sleeps! He remains sound and true to His word. We who have been impacted and walk with Him have daily access to Him. The Father dwells in us and we in Him. We continually remind the Father of His promises to mankind. These promises go beyond acquiring wealth and living successfully! They are all about the Father’s glory covering the earth as the waters cover the sea. Our “reminders” are not about being nagging people; the Father loves the challenges we raise to Him because He knows that we trust Him to be true to His word. We don’t allow darkness to overtake us, and we do not function from a posture of self-righteousness, desiring to bring condemnation. His truth is wrought in us, making us super strong so that we are not swayed or turned by the flawed viewpoints of natural man. Instead, we read right through these things and ensure that we function from a Christ-ward position.

The word “Jerusalem” in the verses above does not refer to a natural, physical location, but to the church, the firstborn of the Father. He will make us, a people who are connected to Him, a “praise in the earth.” We stand out because of our relationship with the Father, and the world is amazed by the order and dimension of favor that we possess. All solutions are within this body. The Father has never intended to hold us back! He longs for us to become mature and faithful stewards of His promises. Day and night, we continually utter the Father’s promises, discerning His heart to speak in precision and without fear!
